Air Freight Quote Requests
Request air cargo options for business shipments moving through U.S. airport networks. Our team reviews each request and shares available options.
Air2Land quotes air cargo between U.S. airports for business shippers: companies, freight forwarders and logistics teams that need freight to move faster than a truck can take it. You send the shipment details, a coordinator reviews them, and we come back with the options available for your cargo and your dates.
Air2Land operates as an Indirect Air Carrier. Flights are performed by licensed air carriers; Air2Land does not operate aircraft. Our job is to find the space, set up the shipment correctly and keep you informed until it is delivered.
What a quote covers
Every quote starts with the airport-to-airport leg. If the cargo needs to be collected from your facility or delivered to the consignee, we add the truck legs at either end and quote the move door to door. Security screening, terminal handling and the paperwork for the shipment are part of the picture, and the quote states what is included.
Charges such as fuel and security surcharges are set by the carriers and change over time. Where they apply, the quote shows them so you can compare options on the full cost, not just the base rate.
Getting an accurate quote
Air freight is priced on chargeable weight: the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight worked out from the dimensions. A light but bulky box can cost more to fly than a small heavy one. Measuring each piece, including the pallet if there is one, is the single best way to get a quote that holds.
Our pricing page has a calculator for chargeable weight. You can send its numbers straight into the quote form.
The other details that change the answer are the cargo type, the date the cargo is ready, any deadline for delivery, and anything that needs special handling.

- Commercial freight
- Recurring shipments
- Cross-country movement

- Step 4
Choose an option
We share the options available for your cargo and dates, with what each one includes, and set up the shipment you choose.
What to send us
- Origin and destination: airports, or full addresses if you need pickup or delivery
- Number of pieces, and whether they are loose cartons, crates or pallets
- Length, width, height and weight of each piece
- What the cargo is, and whether it is high-value
- The date the cargo is ready, and any delivery deadline
- Loading details: dock or liftgate, appointments, receiving hours
Air freight is priced on chargeable weight, so dimensions matter as much as weight.
Work out the chargeable weightDangerous goods
Some cargo is regulated as dangerous goods in air transport. The quote form asks whether your shipment contains any of these:
- Lithium or sodium batteries (alone, installed, or packed with equipment)
- Fuel, aerosols, compressed gas, or chemicals
- Magnetized material
- Dry ice
Any yes, or "Not sure", sends the request to a coordinator for review before we confirm options. Undeclared dangerous goods can be refused or delayed.
